We Fly Unto Thee
We cannot fly without first taking a leap. We must fling ourselves, in total surrender, with arms out wide to make it happen. It is with this same disposition that we meet our Most Precious Mother. We fling our whole selves into her arms, holding nothing back in an act of total consecration and surrender to the human heart that knows our suffering best. In this most eloquent part of the Memorare prayer, we fly unto thee, our Mother. And we are not left unaided.
The Memorare Prayer
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, WE FLY UNTO THEE, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
